Here’s the thing, not only will these two stores keep you in the know, but ultimately they will save you money! Remember trends will eventually fade away (unless it’s the infamous chambray shirt) then you’d probably be better off saving as much as you can.

There’s nothing more chic than a dainty 5 layered necklace! Also, there is nothing more tragic/irritating when they become tangled! You may want to hang these necklaces to avoid the panic of untangling them last minute for your outfit. ( R.I.P to all the necklaces broken due to my impatience)

Am I the only one who gets frustrated when I am shopping around for a formal dress and everything in the store is either too tight, too low-cut, too short, sleeveless, or has the most obnoxious slit toward the thigh? (seriously who wants to see that?!)
Well let me tell you this girl refuses to settle for a less than spectacular formal dress! I think every girl deserves a dress that meets her modest standards while feeling absolutely confident and glamorous while wearing it! So, without further ado,
Here are my 4 Tips on Dressing Modestly and Glamorously!
Tip #1: Pick a Bold, Rich Color!
Rich colors such as royal blue, purple, rich red, etc. communicates elegance, wealth, sophistication, and intelligence. Even if the dress is of a simple structure, the color choice alone can make it look posh and refined without all the “bling”.
This is a great tip if “bling isn’t your thing”.
However, if you’re like me and love sparkles, glitter, and bling, a sequined or beaded top with a simpler bottom will have the sparkle we desire without being too overbearing!
Tip #2: Life is Easier with Sleeves
Come on, admit it if at some point in your life you have purchased a dress with a “modesty issue” thinking you would fix it and then totally giving up on it! (Don’t worry I’ve totally been there too!)
Here’s a tip, just buy the dress that has sleeves, or is longer, or isn’t as tight.
Avoid the woe and the worry to try and find a jacket that will cover up and match the dress. Most of the time finding a bolero jacket that will match the style of dress is very difficult to find and we all know that wearing a matching colored t-shirt underneath is a no-go either!
So save yourself some heartbreak and buy the dress with sleeves!

Happy Friday! Finals are over and my second fall semester at West Coast Baptist College is officially over and I am beyond excited to be back home in Utah! Looking back from a year ago to my first fall semester God has definitely moved and worked in my heart and I cannot believe how much I have grown since that first semester. This topic deserves a blog post all on its own, but for now I can only express gratitude toward God and my parents for allowing me to attend an institution that still believes in the power of prayer and the Word of God.
During finals week, it is the most stressful time for all of us on campus! Finals week deserves comfy, cute, and no-ironing needed type of dresses! This is why modest swing dresses are the way to go!
I am absolutely obsessed with this black and white modest swing dress from Deela Couture. It is so classy and comfy! I paired up this dress with a classic, country chic, horse bit buckle belt with my cognac chunky heels from Target! Of course I could not forget a floppy wool hat from Walmart! So since it is Friday, and it’s a beautiful day out, I think floral would be just fitting for a day like today! Today, I will be reviewing the awesome modest clothing company Sierra Brooke ! I am sure you ladies have heard of them before as they were one of the first modest shops I have encountered. Don’t you just love shopping at websites that you need not to worry about hemlines being too short, clothing being too tight etc? I certainly do!

Oh yes! When it comes to color I tend not to hold anything back really. Summer is just around the corner, and I think we can all agree that summer is awesome, bright, and cheerful, so why can’t our outfits reflect that too? LOL #bloggerlogic
Watercolor print has been all the rage this year, whether it would be on notebooks, planners, clothing, or cute quotes, its no wonder I want everything watercolor! (I ultimately blame Kate Spade though 😉
The skirt I am wearing is in a size small and it features a stretchy waistband (love that!)
The print is an array of gorgeous, ultra bright colors that scream spring and summer season!
On a side note: How fun are these Rue 21 Neon yellow studded heels? I purchased them last summer, and am still loving how bold and bright they are, yet they still embody classiness with the style of the shoe.
Now let’s talk about accessories! A classy yellow 7 flower statement necklace was added for even more floral, feminine detailing, and a pop of color against my hot pink blouse.
Fun Fact: This rosette statement necklace is where my collecting of statement necklaces all began! I believe it was 3 years ago, when J.Crew came out with these stunning necklaces that every blogger/Instagrammer had to have! Well, a quick search on Poshmark scored me my very first rosette statement necklace, and the obsession grew to acquire just about every single color to my collection!

Hello and Happy Tuesday Lovelies! As I looked out my window today I observed the perfect spring day unfold, sunny clear skies, big, fluffy clouds, and birds perching on the trees.
“Oooh, this a great day to wear my spring floral scuba dress!” So I thought.
As I grabbed my purse and headed toward the door, the coldest winter breeze caught me off guard! Yep, it was F R E E Z I N G ! Oh Utah and your “fake sunny” days! Regardless, it feels wonderful to be back in my home state! #beUTAHful
Today’s outfit I will review this stunning, modest floral scuba dress from Salty Bae Boutique!
Let’s talk about the print! Quick Confession! I simply cannot resist a good floral, polkadot or stripe print! Floral print just sets off something in my brain that draws me to purchase it! It’s a medical condition I promise 😉
The colors are the perfect transitional colors from season to season! I can totally see this dress being worn all year round by adding a mustard cardigan and boots in the fall, to wearing it with soft cognac colored accessories for a soft, spring look!
The fit is absolutely fabulous! Not too tight, not too loose, but just right! I think Goldilocks would approve!
It is that time of the semester again….. *dun dun dun* FINALS WEEK! I feel as though I just got here on campus! Spring semester just flew by!! I just finished 4 finals and feel pretty good about them so far! 3 more to go and the semester is over and it is time to fly back to Utah for summer break! I have many long awaited plans that I will be working on this summer that I cannot wait to share with you all!

As a college student a universal fact that we can all relate to is that we are always hungry at any given point of the day! The problem is that we have on average about 5-10 minutes in between classes, so a quick grab-n-go snack is a must! I did not plan on making this a “DIY” but since it is pretty simple to make why not?!
For these White Chocolate Energy Bites you only need 2 ingredients:
Your favorite Trail Mix (Premium Sunkist Trail Mix is by far THE BEST trail mix I have ever tried! One of my biggest pet peeves is trail mix with more filler ingredients than actual fruits and quality nuts (almonds and cashews only please)!
Wilton White Chocolate Melting Chips
Instructions:
All you do is melt the white chocolate chips in a microwavable bowl. Next, take a spoon and drop a dollop of chocolate and spread it out evenly in a circle. Finally, take your trail mix and distribute it quickly before it dries! And that is it! Super easy and great to just grab it and go!
