This dress honestly needs no bells or whistles! It sits perfectly on the body and can be worn alone with a simple long pendant necklace. I decided to emphasize my waist by adding a cognac belt and the cutest laced up cognac chunky heels!

It’s a no brainer, no iron, out-the-door kinda dress! (The lazy girl in me kinda really likes that 😉

Casual and Comfy Modest Outfits! Featuring Sierra Brooke & Deela Couture

Happy Friday! Finals are over and my second fall semester at West Coast Baptist College is officially over and I am beyond excited to be back home in Utah! Looking back from a year ago to my first fall semester God has definitely moved and worked in my heart and I cannot believe how much I have grown since that first semester. This topic deserves a blog post all on its own, but for now I can only express gratitude toward God and my parents for allowing me to attend an institution that still believes in the power of prayer and the Word of God.

Casual Modest Outfit #1: Deela Couture 

During finals week, it is the most stressful time for all of us on campus! Finals week deserves comfy, cute, and no-ironing needed type of dresses! This is why modest swing dresses are the way to go!

I am absolutely obsessed with this black and white modest swing dress from Deela Couture. It is so classy and comfy! I paired up this dress with a classic, country chic, horse bit buckle belt with my cognac chunky heels from Target! Of course I could not forget a floppy wool hat from Walmart!  (DIRECT LINK) Probably the cheapest I have seen them ($10) and they carry them in all sorts of colors!

I love that Deela Couture makes all of their clothing with quality and makes sure that every piece is designed to provide comfort and style! I just had to have this dress!! 

Casual modest Outfit #2: Comfy Fall Floral Striped Dress from Sierra Brooke Clothing

I absolutely LOVE this glamorous dress!! The bold stripes, the maroon colors, and the floral print make it one of my favorites!! It is such a unique dress that it is no wonder that it is a hot selling item!

**Feel free to bring cold food (chips, sandwiches, etc) and water. Please do not bring in a hard sided cooler, glass bottles, or alcohol. It will be confiscated. No tailgating.

A jacket in case you get chilly
A smile, because you’re never fully dressed without it
Some money or a credit card to buy a snack or drink
Your dancing shoes!

Oh and one more thing, please try to carpool. The venue may be charging for parking.

I couldn’t resist picking up the gold pair as well!

Can you say Valentino?! I love these rockstud sandals that very much resemble Valentino!

I fell in love with the red stud details, and the vibrant color!

I don’t know about you but I’m gearing up for some more fall fashion trends!

So for today’s featured fall trend is none other than the staple every girl should have in their closet…

CHAMBRAY/DENIM!!

Oh yes the trend that keeps coming back with full force season after season!

I honestly don’t like to call Chambray a trend anymore its definitely here to stay!

I love my chambray tops and I adore it even more when they make an entire dress out of it and with polka dots!!

Fall is all about the rich tones and textures, and cognac + chambray is my favorite fall way to dress up this shabby chic dress!

You guys aren’t going to believe this but my entire outfit was all from good ol’ yard sales! LOL

I scored this adorable Polka Dot Chambray Dress from Sandy’s closet for just $5 at our Blogger Yard Sale earlier this month!

(also known as @sandyalamode on IG)

My cognac Bag was also from a yard sale a while ago and its literally one of my favs!!

I love how rustic and aged it looks and the bucket style shape is so up my alley!

Now chambray can be paired up with literally anything and still look so chic! But since my dress had the cutest white micro polka dots I decided to wear white to make the white polka dots pop!

I added a thin white buckle belt paired up with my white 5 flower necklace from Walmart! (Haul coming soon 😉

For months now my favorite white flower necklace from Our World Boutique broke and I was left without my staple piece?:(
Until last week I was randomly roaming the aisles of Walmart and found a TON of flower statement necklaces for just $5!

SCORE!!

🌸Modest Floral Midi Skirt Outfit!!+ Blogger Yard Sale Recap ! 🌸

Hello and Happy Tuesday!
As we are saying farewell to summer and hello to fall I thought I’d wear one last “summery” outfit!

I’d like to call this look a modern take of Grandma’s couch! LOL🌻🌸💕
I knew this skirt reminded me of something but I couldn’t exactly pinpoint it.

I scored this gorgeous floral midi skirt at a clearance type store here in Utah! It was originally $30 but on sale for just $15 with additional percentage off making it a grand total of just $11 with tax! Now that’s a sweet deal!
You guys I have seen quite a few floral skirts but none like this one!
The skirt is actually made out of a mesh so it’s not only airy and so SO comfy but it keeps it’s a-line shape!
(No need for a petticoat! )

Now for my shirt it’s actually a Kate Spade blouse from the closet of Megan also known as Darling on a Dollar! I scored great buys from the Blogger Yard Sale we had over the weekend!
I mean Kate Spade for $15?!! Yes please! (Compare at $300?😳 #yeahsavings!)

Isn’t this top and skirt a match made in heaven?!?😍 Love the floral print detailing on the collar! (I’m a sucker for details😍)

Nautical Look #1

Oh yes the minute I laid eyes on this beauty I immediately placed it to my checkout cart!💙⚓️

Pleats, Midi length and Anchors?
Oh just so classic!
I decided on wearing this skirt with the color turquoise because of a picture I saw on Pinterest!
I really love how different this color combo is compared to the regular red,white and blue route I usually take!

Gasp!! I’m wearing flats?!? I know right?
Lol
I just had to wear these navy and white striped flats !

Nautical Look #2

This skirt!! You guys!! I found this sweet girl who makes these gorgeous anchor printed skirts for a steal! I believe I paid only $17 for a handmade skirt!
I bought three anchor print skirts from her Instagram Shop and I am in love with them!😍⚓️💙 They’re one of those one of a kind special skirts!
I have never seen a yellow and grey striped anchor skirt before .. Til now!
I love the classic preppy color combo of yellow and grey! So chic!

Nautical Look #3
For my next and final look, it’s the same pattern as the last skirt but with a more classic color scheme: good ol’ red,white and blue!

Both of these skirts just make my anchor adoring heart so happy!😍💙❤️⚓️
I paired up my patriotic skirt with a classic red blouse with a gorgeous draping on the neckline!
I could also see this looking fab with a denim vest/ chambray shirt!

As you can see the wind was quite fierce but I kinda enjoyed it until it ruined my bouffant! 😭
