I have many long awaited plans that I will be working on this summer that I cannot wait to share with you all!

But for the meantime enjoy some random snapshots of what I have been up to for the past 2 weeks! During the busy time of college I still enjoy connecting with you all through SnapChat! Make sure to add me @Modestly.Hot and I will add you back!

As a college student a universal fact that we can all relate to is that we are always hungry at any given point of the day! The problem is that we have on average about 5-10 minutes in between classes, so a quick grab-n-go snack is a must! I did not plan on making this a “DIY” but since it is pretty simple to make why not?!

For these White Chocolate Energy Bites you only need 2 ingredients:

  1. Your favorite Trail Mix (Premium Sunkist Trail Mix is by far THE BEST trail mix I have ever tried! One of my biggest pet peeves is trail mix with more filler ingredients than actual fruits and quality nuts (almonds and cashews only please)!
  2. Wilton White Chocolate Melting Chips

Instructions:

All you do is melt the white chocolate chips in a microwavable bowl. Next, take a spoon and drop a dollop of chocolate and spread it out evenly in a circle. Finally, take your trail mix and distribute it quickly before it dries! And that is it! Super easy and great to just grab it and go!

Blue, polkadots, and cute frilly layering tops featuring Shop Blets!

This shirt was sent to me by the fabulous ladies at Shop Blets to try out and review for you guys! I chose the “Tik Tak” Layering Tee because 1. I needed a basic white shirt but with a more feminine twist and 2. There are a variety of ways to wear this layering tee whether by itself or under a sleeveless shirt/dress!

The detailing and quality of this shirt is what makes this top superior than let’s say a regular white tee. The shoulders have delicate petals and the cut/material is made to fit you seamlessly taking “arm candy” to another level!

Summer is coming and you will definitely see this layering tee as an essential part of my summer wardrobe!

Let’s be honest nobody wants to wear a long sleeved cardigan in the heat of the summer but for modesty purposes we are forced to. But not to worry Shop Blet’s has got us #modestgirls covered with their lightweight, layering tees!

And here’s some more good news!! Shop Blets is offering ModestlyHot followers %15 OFF their famous layering Tees! I would definitely hurry and snag one for yourself before summer hits!

🍂🌻Modest Teal & Leopard Skirt Outfit featuring Jupe De Abby!🌻🍂

Hello Friends!!

Boy we’re already coming to the weekend!🙌🏻 Seems like yesterday it was just Sunday at church and now it’s time to do it all over once again!!

So I as coming from my classes I went ahead and checked my mail and you won’t believe what arrived!!😱

Just in time for fall!!🍂🍁🍃

This stunning aline leopard ball gown midi skirt! 😍🙌🏻💛

Immediately when I saw it I knew it was going to be on repeat for several  outfit posts!

I couldn’t help but wear it the same week I got it! (No shame in that lol)

Now I realize I could go so many different routes with this skirt but I decided on wearing a teal blouse with gold accent buttons on the shoulders from Ross!

*side note* I 100% recommend you purchasing a few of these dressy colored blouses! Check your Ross every week when they rotate inventory (ask your store manager what day of the week that is) to find these hidden gems! You can find them as low as $4-5 each!

Such great staples in my wardrobe!

Now back to the skirt! You girls are in luck the skirts at Jupe de Abby are for the most part under $30 and they’re having a fall sale on their site!! 🙌🏻 just use the code: Sept15 for even MORE savings! ❤️

“Leopard is a Neutral”

I love the color combo of mint/teal and leopard! I wore my white flower statement necklace from Walmart (who knew Walmart could have such cute necklaces!) and my Justfab Cognac Wedges!

You’ll probably be seeing this skirt on replay in the coming weeks because it is so versatile and goes with everything!

Well that wraps up today’s post!

Have a great weekend and I’ll chat with you next time!

God Bless,

Ashley❤️

Day to Night Outfit

Hot pink, leather, and studs are whats happening in today’s outfit. I love this hot pink maxi skirt paired up with my favorite metal belt.

From Day to Night

From Day to Night

For daytime I wore this super bright maxi skirt with a basic white tee. (pretty casual but still cute.)  Now for night time I added one of my all time favorite Poshmark finds which is this studded leather jacket! I didn’t even bother wearing heels since you won’t be able to see them anyways. Now can we just talk about how bright this maxi skirt is?! I love it!Its very soft and definitely one of the better quality maxi skirts I own.                                                                                                      What I found very flattering is the fit, most maxi skirts have a tendency to just ‘stick’ to my thighs really awkwardly, but this skirt is tight on my waist and flares out and I love that! (Fit and flare is the silhouette that works best with my body.) This outfit was the most comfortable thing I have worn in a while! (Gotta love maxi skirts!) I feel like I put all of my favorite clothing pieces into one outfit, like no joke I loove this skirt and the jacket and the belt and even the white t-shirt! 20140403-135913.jpg

My life as an In-N-Out Associate

Good morning! I wanted to write this post because I get asked all the time,” what’s it like working at in-n-out?” Or ” how can I get hired ?”
Well I’ll tell you my personal experience with the company. First of all In-n-Out is NOT for the the faint of heart I can tell you that much. It involves a lot and I mean ALOT of constant moving and switching from one position to the next (which makes work a lot less boring I think.) In-N-out is also called by some the “second happiest place on Earth” next to Disneyland of course! Now let me tell you all that smiling does get tiring to maintain especially if a customer is being extra “picky”. That brings me to my next point, at In-n-out no matter what position you are on you’re always going to have interaction with customers there is no avoiding that! So keep calm and smile on when you see that bus load of hungry, moody teenagers walking through those glass doors! Also be prepared to always see lines throughout the day (darn that animal burger why must you taste so good?!) I’ll be honest wages was what made me go in for my interview. They used to start you off at $10Hr but they have raised it to $10.50hr and if you dominate that terminal you get a raise in such a short time! You work for your next raise in ” Levels” so of course if you are a higher level it gives you a bit of bossing rights to the lower levels ( which I never tend to use lol)
You must show that you want to be trained and constantly tell them to have them watch you If you want your raise first! You must be a multitasker especially for the night shifts when the crew is cut down by half. It is definitely a fast paced environment! The pros of working at in-n-out is the wages, friendly associates that become your second family, rewards, giveaways, holiday pay, Christmas gifts, events, and company parties!

Cons: Getting off on time. Your schedule may say that you get off “9pm ” but good luck getting off on time when a line out the door walks in!
You may find yourself going home past midnight! On the other hand if business is much too slow they may let you off earlier. So your hours are based on business.
It is HARD work! Lifting heavy items, shaking fry baskets, wrapping burgers like a machine, cleaning all while keeping a smile on your face!

Overall I really love working in a fast paced environment! I love running around getting stuff done!

In-n-Out is an awesome company to work for! Yes you will break a sweat but hey they constantly reward you , treat you respectfully, and really want you to succeed!
