Fall Fashion Modest Outfits 2016! Tribal Skirt & Maroon Featuring LuLa Roe Review!

Happy Wednesday!!

Well today was officially my last day working at my In-N-Out home store #245 for the summer!

I have mixed emotions about it all really, one part of me is excited to return to the grind of Bible college, the other part of me is just bummed out that I have to leave the comforts of my home, work, and family behind! As soon as I have adjusted to my new managers, associates and my schedule it is time to leave and readjust again to a new environment.

However the constant changes are beneficial to the overall growth of a person. Change brings daily challenges to rise up against, new faces to meet, and a chance to extend Christ’s love to others I would have never met if I stay in Utah. So with that being said, BRING IT ON Fall Semester!!

I may not be the smartest, strongest, nor most talented, but I know of someone who is all that and much more!! I’m so grateful that God is more interested in my AVAILABILITY than my ABILITY!

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness”

2 Corinthians 12:9

That does it for modest fall look numero uno! Many more are to come this week!

So what is my overall consensus on this LuLa Roe Cassie Skirt?

F A B 😀 OR DRAB?:(

MOST DEFINITELY FAB!

I like list making so here are my reasons on why I dig this skirt!

  1. COMFORT:  A comfy skirt will always have a special place in my heart!
  2. CUTENESS! Fall calls for warm sweaters, pumpkin spiced EVERYTHING and tribal prints!
  3. MODEST: Length comes right at my knee, It is not uber tight, and has a stretchy waistband

This is ModestlyHot and I approve this message ; )

Til Next Time!

God Bless,

Ashley Amber

❤️Once upon a Polkadot… Featuring DaintyJewells Dress!❤️

Hello Lovelies!! ❤️

Happy Sunday!! What a week it has been and what a week I look forward to! Last week was full of mid-terms which I am so thankful to all those who kept me in their prayers because this girl right here was about to lose her mind trying to remember eveything in every class!

Yesterday was such a busy day as well as we helped with “Pumkins in the Park” event for the little kids!

It was so fun helping out and seeing the kids enjoy fall games, treats and picking their own pumpkin from the pumpkin patch! 🎃

So exciting because today was Restart Sunday at Lancaster Baptist Church!! And yes that is a huge I-Phone📱 🙌🏻

(I Call dibs on it when they take it down 😉)

For the past couple of weeks we have gone out and knocked on doors inviting everyone to Restart Sunday and it was so encouraging to see the auditorium full of new time visitors!

For today’s outfit I just couldn’t wait to wear this GORGEOUS dress from Dainty Jewell’s!!

In the past I have collaborated with Dainty Jewell’s and let me tell you how amazing their customer service always is! Out of all my Dainty Jewell’s dresses and skirts this one has got to be my ultimate fav!!😍

The Central Park Dress is one of their new fall releases and it’s absolutely stunning and timeless! This dress is perfect for fall because it’s not an actual stark white but more of a softer cream/off white which make the dress 10x classier and chic!

The Polkadots are so spontaneous and of different sizes that make this dress unique than any other Polkadot dress out there!

The fitted bodice and full midi skirt are right up my alley!❤️❤️❤️❤️ The “poofier” the better🙌🏻❤️😍

This lovely dress came with a lovely matching sash but I decided I wanted to wear that look some other time and do the “glam 50’s ” look today!

So out came my most favoritest-est-est-est-estest-est belt ever!!!😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 (Yes I could keep going on and on about this belt!) this gold metal bar belt is simply the best belt I’ve ever worn!

Thank you Two 12 Fashion!!✨

For my hair  I put those granny sponge rollers on my hair the night before! This is key when doing a retro hairstyle because in the morning you’ll want to brush them out gently to form waves. After that part your hair to the side and bobby pin it behind your ear ! *Make sure to wear pretty earrings to accentuate your classic 1950s do! *

For shoe I just couldn’t resist but to wear these red bow heels from She-Inside!

For my makeup I went for a classic red lip using my favorite red lipgloss  I got from an Ipsy Bag!

It’s so rich and a shade of deep red ! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Did I mention it’s only a lipgloss?!

You guys I have found my new favorite blush and it’s from E.L.F!

It’s the mellow mauve blush and it’s a soft muted dust rose! Goes with any makeup look to freshen up the skin! Plus it’s a steal at only $3!👍🏻

Well that wraps up today’s post ! Hope you all have an awesome Monday! ❤️⚫️⚪️❤️

I also forgot to mention that this dress comes in a little girls size !

I could totally see this as bridesmaids/flower girl dresses!

Have a great rest of your Sunday!

Xoxo,

Ashley

❄️Disney Fashion Week! ❄️⛄️Featuring Anna from Frozen⛄️❄️

Happy Saturday Lovelies!💙
Yes it’s time for my favorite look book of all time.. Disney Fashion Week!!
IMG_3235.JPG
The part of my blog where I channel my inner 5 year old dreams!😂❄️

IMG_3232.JPG
This week is I decided on being Anna from Frozen!😍❄️💙❄️💙❄️

I think out of all the Disney looks I’ve recreated this one by far has been the easiest for sure! I chose to recreate Anna’s Coronation Look because in all honesty I cannot rock pig tails like she can! So without further ado, let’s get started on the basics of this look!

Here are some tips and tricks to look like Anna with things you already have around the house!

Step 1: Anna’s Coronation Hair

IMG_4431.JPG

This hairstyle was so easy to recreate! Basically all you do, is part your hair in the middle and take your hair from both sides behind your ear and braid the sections.
Next you want to tease your crown and secure it with bobby pins.
Now Anna’s bun is pulled to the back of her head but for me personally I prefer to make a cute side bun that hangs low to frame my face.
Add some finishing hairspray and you’re done!

IMG_4435.JPG

Step 2: Anna’s Floral Shirt +Skirt!

Of course we can’t forget about her signature black floral top!!
I’ve seen plenty of tutorials on how to make one but I actually purchased a very inexpensive dress from EBay!

IMG_4436.PNG
The top is so cute in itself but the skirt was very cheap looking and it resembled too much like a cosplay and not a fashion inspired outfit , so instead I cut the skirt part out and wore my satin green ball gown skirt!

IMG_4430-0.JPG

Step 3: Anna’s Makeup!

I so enjoyed this makeup look and will definitely be rocking it again!
So for Anna’s makeup we got to remember that she’s in a very cold/freezing environment❄️⛄️, thus rosy pinched cheeks is only natural that she’d have!

IMG_4434.JPG

IMG_4386.JPG
For my eye makeup I applied very lightly a luminescent white as my base.
For my crease I added a soft brown all over the lid and further defined my crease using a dark brown from my Lorac Unzipped Palette!

For a bit more fun I added a cool toned violet shadow on my blending brush and softly applied it to my lower lash line for that extra “ice cold ” feel! ❄️⛄️

Lips! If you notice Anna not only has rosy bright pink cheeks but also a bright pink lip color!
I used my fav Wet N Wild Mega Last Lip Color in “Cherry Picking” ! These lipsticks are amazing!! So rich in pigment and smooth to apply oh and they’re a steal at just $1.99!!

IMG_4376.JPG
And that’s it!!
Three easy steps to achieve Anna from Frozen!❄️⛄️
I hope you all have found this helpful and til next time!!
Xoxo,
Ashley💕
